International. Schmelz lawfirm is part of XLNC, an international network of lawyers, tax advisors and auditors based in Switzerland. This enables us to draw on 180 partner firms in more than 40 countries worldwide to effectively resolve our clients' cross-border issues.

Our client base consists of private individuals as well as companies of all sizes: from young families having a marriage contract drawn up to buyers and sellers of houses or apartments, from start-ups to large companies.

Our reference clients include numerous companies, associations and foundations in the profit and non profit area, such as Rosenbauer International AG (a manufacturer of firefighting equipment listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange and a world leader in this field), the Austrian branch of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the Austrian branch of the  Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Austrian branch of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, the Austrian branch of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation or the Verband der österreichischen Tafeln.

We also represent numerous clients in the medical and pharmaceutical sector, including physicians, the international associations European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and European Society of Urogenital Radiology, the pharmaceutical company OrphaCare GmbH, and VertretungsNetz (one of the four adult protection associations commissioned by the Austrian Ministry of Justice).
